Why does the Android app show fewer caches than the iPhone app?

Hello, new geocache fan here. I've noticed that the Android app shows fewer basic/traditional caches than the iPhone app. Neither of the two players had a subscription plan for premium, yet the Android app had a number of greyed out caches that appeared to be premium. However, when I use the Android browser and geocaching.com page, the supposedly premium caches in the app are available to log.

Is this a know issue? Will there be an update coming out to correct it? Apologies if this has already been discussed. I tried searching the forums but didn't see it listed.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Can you give examples of caches shown on one phone but not shown on another?  Did the cachers check to be sure the App's cache filters are not set?  You can show fewer caches with filters.

If your question is if the Official Geocaching App (and partner Apps) shows basic member benefits to basic members, yes they do.  To see the grayed out "Advanced" caches and more within the App, that's a premium member benefit.  You can also go to the web site (for example, in a browser App on your phone), where those greyed out "Advanced" caches are all there in view for free.  Advanced caches are not to be confused with "Premium Member Only" caches.  You may find and log any cache as a basic member, but the tougher caches are on the web site.  If you're ready for more of a challenge, type coords for one of the Advanced caches into some GPS App (such as The Official Geocaching App) and go find and log it.
