+OusKonNé & Cétyla Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Into my "Difficulty and Terrain of Caches I've Found" grid (Statistics page), when I click on a "0" to search this D/T combination, I always get an error window. Same bug when I click on the "Fill in your grid" green button. To get the result list, I have to manually correct the link by replacing the ampersand by %26. 2 1 Quote
+OusKonNé & Cétyla Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 I don't understand why Groundspeak doesn't implement a global solution to URL issues with ampersand instead of fixing (patching) each bug one by one... 1 3 1 Quote
+Hügh Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 (edited) I think this one is especially frustrating because it really should be an easy fix. This function, built into every browser's JavaScript engine, exists for the purpose of solving this problem. (Then again, I suppose that the grid is rendered on the server side. Still — no matter what language HQ is using on the backend, I guarantee that there exists an equivalent function. They should use it.) Edited June 9, 2022 by Hügh 2 2 Quote

I use and develop a js extension and we have also often problems with that (But we allways are able to solve these issues, although we haven't access to the serverside). Sometimes it need two times encoded/decode, sometimes not. Looks like GS server code is not consistent... 2 Quote
