+MikeofKorea
I just renewed my premium membership after a lapse. I used to be able to download GPX files to my Garmin, but that option doesn't appear anymore. Can anyone fill me in on what the deal is now? Quote Link to comment
+StefandD
The Garmin Communicator was depreciated many years ago due to safety issues. But you still can download GPX files: On every cache page you have the option to download a GPX file. Download it and move it to the \Garmin\GPX\ folder on your Montana. As a Premium Member you can create lists. Lists can be saved as a GPX file but you can sent it directly to your Montana. For this feature Garmin Express must be installed. Pocket Queries are also an option. Create a PQ, download it and unzip it to the \Garmin\GPX\ folder on your Montana. Quote Link to comment
+MikeofKorea
I see "download .loc file", but not .gpx file. Hmm. Quote Link to comment

You have to be a premium member to download GPX. You may need to reset some browser cookies, or try an incognito window. Edited April 26, 2022 by Atlas Cached 1 Quote Link to comment

+MikeofKorea
I see what I've done. I am trying for geodetic benchmarks, and they don't have .gpx files. I don't know what to do with .loc files, though. I'll look around and see what it takes to open them. Regular geocaches I see have the .gpx download option. Thanks to all. Quote Link to comment

GPSrChive > How To... > Benchmark provides a ton of Benchmarking information as well as multiple methods to get all those Benchmarks on your Garmin GPSr so you can search and find them just like Geocaches! 1 Quote Link to comment
