bushratgh Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Hallo, i placed two caches for in ghana and am planning to place more. But: it looks like i am the only one around here doing this and if it continues like that i will only be picked up by the environmental protection agency for littering the country with plastic boxes. :-) b. +Captain Morgan Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Write an article about geocaching to Ghana's biggest newspaper and you may surprise that in next day there will be couple of more geocachers in your area. Quote
bushratgh Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 Good idea. Maybe I will just do that. Thanks. Are there any pre-configured press statetments or do I need approval of the approvers first for an article like that? After all, I am new to the thing and would not want to write something wrong or misleading or whatever. b. _________________________________________ We tend to be betrayed by destinations. +erik88l-r Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 You could probably get a lot of basic information from the geocaching.com site, and/or see what others have written about our sport here: http://www.geocaching.com/press/ Not everything others have written is error free, but as long as you don't perpetuate the myth that geocaches are buried you should do fine. erik - geocaching.com admin Quote
