map crashes on safari

For a while now, the geocaching.com map has been crashing when using Safari on Mac. Either the server terminates the connection prematurely or the following error occurs:

The error just described occurs in most cases after loading the map, when clicking on a geocache. 

The problem with the broken server connection occurs when loading the page in about 2/3 of the cases.

 

Start to getting annoying because the website is practically unusable.

If there's any update you haven't done, I suggest trying that. I got rid of that error on my ipad's Safari after updating to iOS 15.

 

Not that it makes HQ breaking stuff like this ok, but you know...

Hey mustakorppi,

thank's for your reply. I'm using the newest stable version of macOS and Safari. So that should not be a problem.

But thank you for the idea.

 

@Team OPJim I think it's crazy that they don't recognize it. Is nobody using a mac in the Headquarter?

 

@Geocaching HQ Admin Please check on this. It cannot be that the map is not working in Safari (on Mac). I have attached the error message again.

I have the same problem with geocaching map on Safari on my IPad.

Very irritating

Isn’t there stil a solution for it?

We experience exactly the same problems as described above, for a very long time.

Safari on Iphone 6 & 10, Ipad 2020; all up to date with the OS.

Problem does not only occur on the new map, but also on message center. Both pages need at least one refresh to get it working. If you start from the beginning (search), the problem occurs again. 

(Same happened on the cache owners dashboard, but not anymore.)

I have the same problem. Can someone explain this and fix it? I use MacBook and Safari browser.
