Wherigo app (iPhone) encoding issue

When a cartridge is opened, first screen shows an information about the game. This is taken from the Wherigo.com, which can contain localized strings. This is not properly shown in the new iPhone Wherigo app 1.5.5 (28) (released yesterday). 
please, observe attached screenshot, test such issue on such geocache: GC7CV60.

This is not a problem of the iOS app. The question marks are also in the WhereYouGo App (Android). Also some german letters (ä,ö,ü,ß) are displayed as question marks. That is a problem of all Wherigo Apps.

Nic,

this information is taken from the Wherigo.com site, not from the cartridge itself. Confirmed by the cartridge maker, he doesn't use unusual characters inside the game, as Garmin would not "survive" them.
