Why Are Some Favorite Point Hearts Filled In?

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that some favorite point hearts are colored in while others are not. Why?

I believe the hearts that are filled in are the specific caches you gave a favorite point.

Yes! That looks right.

That is what I thought, but it is incorrect. There are cache's with hearts filled in that I have never been to. I have never visited the the two caches below. Apparently the number of favorite points is not the answer either. Also, sometimes the heart is blue, sometimes it is green.

Did you find the "Bullheads and Snails" cache shown in your first post's image?

You switched over to the cache page view in your second post.  Those hearts are always blue, in my experience.

On the cache page the heart is solid blue even if the cache has zero FPs.
