+15Tango
When I find a cache with loose coordinates, I'll mark the actual location in my GPS. There used to be a special spot to add my coords to my log so they're bold and easier for others to read, but I can't find that any more - now, all I can do is just add them in the text of my log. Am I going blind and just no longer seeing this feature, or is it gone? 1 Quote Link to comment

See this release notes thread for more info. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
Yes -- removed a very useful feature for a very silly reason. Hope they really think it was worth it. Quote Link to comment

But this is definitely NOT a Locationless Cache. Quote Link to comment

The issue was that you were unable to see those on the apps. They should make the process more clear for how to update coordinate for all those clueless CO but even with our suggestions Groundspeak doesn't seems to care. But yeah that new ''Locationless Cache'' is completely absurd and against what was a locationless cache. The closest MEGA from my home is 740 km in a straight line and thats including half of it over the Atlantic...... Quote Link to comment

That would be a separate problem that actually DID need to be resolved. This is one of those many gc.com UI instances where more function (ease of entry/display of alternates) was more important than more cute (a Signal without a home). Quote Link to comment
