+HunterandSamuel Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 My premium cache hide was muggled recently. They took my expenisive survivor lock-n-lock, the fake grass it was hidden under, and scattered the swag about. I don't want to replace the cache in the same spot (in the woods at the base of a tree under the fake grass carpet). The cache is called "Please Keep Off the Grass" and many cachers loved it, gave it favorite points. I would like to go deeper into the woods and find another tree. Maybe 30 feet from the original hide. Can I edit the coordinates? Thank you for any advice. It was a sad day! Quote

+cerberus1 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 The only thing you can't edit is the cache type. You can move a cache "up to" 528 feet, provided it's not now too near another cache(that 528 feet...). 1 Quote
+NanCycle Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Yes, 30 feet is well within the distance that you can change it. You do this through an UPDATE COORDINATES log. Do not be fooled by the "correct coordinates " pencil icon next to the current coordinates. 3 Quote
