What's up with the search bar?

Recently, when I try to search a location for waymarks I get varied locations around the world as the response. Are they trying to fix this issue or just letting it ride?,

For a reliable way to search, see my post in THIS THREAD. It has always worked for me, even when all other methods fail.

in the last few months, I have had to input zip codes and/or city names into the search a few times before it would finally give me results. Yesterday, I was trying to do some searches and the search NEVER gave me anything but the global search. It is truly AFU or TU (I can translate for any non-military types -- All Fouled Up, T(mammaries) Up, similar to belly up.)

In the meantime use the method suggested:

 Right now, the only reliable way I have to search is to enter coordinates in the manner that Waymarking itself formats them:

 

[lat:XX.XXXXX,lon:XXX.XXXXX] (Copy the part with the square brackets, including the brackets, then enter your coords in decimal degree format in place of the XXXs and insert into the "Near:" field on the Waymarks search page {the actual number of decimal places used is irrelevant}.)

that may work for Geocaches, but I don't see a way to get it to search Waymarks
