+kunarion
AaronDodds had a great post about how to load an "old" GPS. Reposting so people can find it easier. "EasyGPS" can load many discontinued GPSs. It's pretty basic, but that's all we need, right? "For anyone having big issues with older GPS systems such as mine, Legend H. Garmin express and the sort will not work. Download a program called EASYGPS. Download all your GPX files from geocaching into a folder. Open EasyGPS, click open and select all geocaches you want to trasnsfer. Hit transfer and then it will send it to the GPS. I understand some older folk / less computer experienced might have a bit of an issue understanding some of the steps, so heres a quick video I made - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubLG-vQsmk8" Edited September 9, 2018 by kunarion 1 Quote Link to comment
+Sheesh
I am new to easy gps and I'm wondering if there is a way to load geocaches by name rather than by gc number? Quote Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
Not the best idea because CG numbers are unique whereas names can be, and often are, duplicated. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+JL_HSTRE
Is GSAK still effective for sending caches to older GPS models? Quote Link to comment
