+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
We went out last night to doBryant's Cache and to try to snag one of Oregone's CDs to sWild in the City but after finding the cache found no CDs . Reading the logs of everyone who had been there before us showed the same thing, no cd. Anyone shed some light on the dissappearing CDs? Can't complain, no one listens anyway. Quote Link to comment
+oregone
I know. What's up with that? I was there Tuesday at 4:36pm. By the time TJ got there the next day, they were both gone with no indication as to who took them in the logbook. Oh well. There's always more CDs. I have a feeling i'll be back to that park before too long anyway. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
Dr. Isotope
Missing CD's? Maybe they will show up again, but this time with a special sticker on the front. Dr. I Quote Link to comment
pdxkim
Uh-Oh!! I hope the stickers aren't about a *broken arrow!* ROTFLMAO or something!!!! Quote Link to comment

+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
So Dr Isotope would you care to elaborate on what you mean or as to where the missing cds might be? What evil nefarious plans do you have for them? Inquiring minds would like to know. Can't complain, no one listens anyway. Quote Link to comment
Dr. Isotope
Do not worry. The CDs will return. Here is a clue about my future plan: The US government has a code phrase, "fill your pockets with salt" What does this phrase mean? Dr. I Quote Link to comment
+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
You are intriging but you have us at a disadvantage because we know nothing about you. Your profile seems to hint at goblinisim but not sure. Your move. Can't complain, no one listens anyway. Quote Link to comment
+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
So Dr Isotope are you saying that we should be "filling our pockets with salt" for a particular reason? I'm hoping my thyroid will not need the protection of the iodine in the salt for the particular reason the phrase refers to. I too have spent some time around nuclear reactors and understand the problems of radiation exposure. I say again, your move. Can't complain, no one listens anyway. Quote Link to comment
+oregone
this is what said sticker looks like. And no, i'm NOT Dr. Isotope. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
Do you think this might be a ploy to drum up interest in a future cache? Does the sticker just show what was in the picture or is there some other message on It? This has me intrigued now, I need to find one of these. Can't complain, no one listens anyway. +oregone
It only has what's in the picture. I also saw one of these stickers on Wednesday night at Absolutely. It was affixed to the front of one of my Portland General Eclectic CDs. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
+fractal
Yeah.. I saw that sticker... But it came on the CD. I forgot where I got it though. -fractal Quote Link to comment
+Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma
so, did you check it out with your geiger counter? Can't complain, no one listens anyway. Quote Link to comment

+nmartin
Have the CD's started to return? I have the coordinates via the delivery system from "Instrumental Version" and plan to hunt for it at the end of next week. At the same time, would like to get the clues (CD's) for "wild in the city" and "Portland General Eclectic" to save additional trips up from Salem Quote Link to comment

I recently put out about 15 copies each of PGE and WITC, but they're pretty hard to keep track of. I try to put them in newish caches so portland-area cachers don't have to revisit old caches to get them. Since you're coming up from Salem to do IV, give me a few days notice and i'll put some CDs in there so you can do PGE on your way back south. I have a feeling that no one will be attempting WITC for a while, despite it having but three finders so far. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
+Team JOYSON
Maybe we should all get together somewhere for lunch this weekend, compare notes, then go out and find Instrumental Version, PGE, & WITC??? Naww... something like that would never work. Hard work often pays off after time, but procrastination always pays off now. Quote Link to comment

I drove by it yesterday and it's beginning to look more and more like a 5/5 with the rising waters. But i'd be happy to watch y'all go out there from the safety of the Ross Island bridge. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
+bazzle
oregone is right... I think I will wait for the water to calm a little before tackling WITC. And of course for a chance to dig the needed equipment out of winter storage under the tents in the garage... Life is as much a journey of discovery, as it is a discovery of the journey... **Namaste** Quote Link to comment
RickR
I've also got the "wild in the City" solved like Bazzle and am waiting for the conditions and resources to log the cache. I agree, not at this time, though. I MIGHT have that CD at home and will get it back into circulation if so. Quote Link to comment
