Caching in China

Creating a PQ has to be done with Groundspeak's PQ Page.

Hit the button: "Create a new Query" > Select "Within" > radio button "Countries" > check "China"

You can't create a Groundspeak PQ with GSAK.

Thanks Hans. I know how to do PQs. I have already done what you descibed and from my (poor) memory there are about 2000 something caches and PQ limit is 1000. I'll try the Api call you illustrated. This (api) is new and foreign to me.

before I try it I just thought of something else. How do I place the result in a seperate GSAK database to the one I already have?

[...]. How do I place the result in a seperate GSAK database to the one I already have?

Create a new database

Menu > Database > New > Give it a living name

Whilst having this database selected > Run the "Get Geocaches" command

Re: PQs limits

You may split the PQs by date. That way the 1000 limit is no issue.

PQ Date Split How To

China Split Dates for PQ

Hong Kong Split Dates for PQ

But actually the Api way seems the way to go. ;-)
