Accidentally logged a find...

I accidentally logged a cache as found, but I didn't find it. I didn't even try to find it! I'd meant to log one nearby.. have no idea how it happened. Is there a way to delete it in the app?

I've not tried to edit or delete a log in the app. If there's a way to do it easily, it's not intuitive as I look at it now.

 

The app should have an option to open a cache in your browser; once you do, you should have the ability to edit or delete your log. (You may have to log in first if you normally don't use your phone browser to access the geocaching website.)

Which app? As this is an app-related question, it might be better asked in the forum for the appropriate app. Or the GPS/API/Technology section if not a GS app.

I've used a few apps, and haven't noticed any way to delete logs in any of them. I think that's something you have to do via the web site.

You can go to website and there is a red trash can icon you can click on.
