Could anyone living in the vicinity of I-287 and I-80 junction recommend a hotel? It don’t have to be much, just a place to lie my head down for a few hours and grab a shower. Quote Link to comment

My guess is that you're looking more for a Motel 6 type place, rather than a Hayatt (though sometimes the prices aren't all that different). I'll let you know what I come up with, or if you find something, you can run it by me and I can let you know if it's a hole or adequate (BTW I have about a dozen caches within a few miles of that intersection). The Wayne Motor Inn is probably the furthest. I haven't called around, but I bet Rosernes is the cheapest (but it's kind of a dive...at least from the outside). Hope this helps. Time to burn up the phone lines. I've done all the caches in my area and have to travel 75 miles or so to find any caches. I've been watching the web cams in your area and looks like you have bear ground again, beats the 3 feet of snow we have here so it's off we go for two fun filled days of geocaching. +briansnat Posted January 16, 2003 Share Posted January 16, 2003 There is still snow in the higher elevations (like around my house), but most of NJ is now pretty bare. The area you chose is pretty cache rich, and there are a lot of good ones there (esp. to the north). I've found (or placed) most of ones in the area, so if you like, I can recommend some of the nicer ones. If you want to do a zipcode search of caches in the area, use 07054, the zip for Parsippany.
