+Malemotives
Found 6 caches today and had 1 DNF. Brought my total for my first month to 61. More importantly, today I revisited a previous DNF and located it It was, for me... the Cache of The Day, and added another new kind of hide to my Newby book. After discovering it and because of an earlier in the week incident, I happened to have the right tool of the trade. Later.... reading previous logs, I noticed that some who found it completely disassembled it to get at the container. Fortunately for them, the CO used screws to assemble the hide, and they happened to have a screwdriver. Wonder what they would have done had he nailed it in place? Most of all, what I've learned from my successes, and DNFs, this first month, is that I have a whole lot more to learn. With the majority of my finds being urban and hide methods repetitive, there is a lot I have yet to see. That said... I am hooked. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Way to go. 6 of 7 is actually a pretty good ratio. Quote Link to comment

+runninbear1
Congrats !! Very cool !! But beware... This hobby is very fun and addicting... Mrs rb1 & I have only had one 12 day streak of no finds in the last 2 1/2 years... between our 1st and 2nd day of caching. In fact, we gotta head out today for a little more fun !!
