+TrekNTerry
I was clearing some missing travel bugs from one of my caches and accidentally reported an existing one as missing. Is there a way to undo this? Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
I don't think so. You could message the TB owner for the code and discover/place it back in the cache. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Sure, Grab it and Place it into the cache. Do so with a Note log, explaining the move. Edit to add: I don't think you can "undo" actions... such as marking it as Missing. Edited December 31, 2014 by Gitchee-Gummee Quote Link to comment
+TrekNTerry
I can't grab the TB since I don't have the Tracking Code. I guess I'll try contacting the owner and see if they can move it back into the cache. Quote Link to comment
+NanCycle
If it's your cache, why can't you go to it and get the tracking number? Quote Link to comment
+TrekNTerry
It's my cache but not my travel bug so I have no rights to move the travel bug without the tracking code. Fortunately, the person who originally put the bug in the cache still had the tracking code and was able to correct the situation so all is well. Thanks to those who responded. Quote Link to comment

Let me get this straight: the TB was in your cache, but you thought you can't get the code off of it to fix your mistake? You most certainly can go to your cache, take out a TB, get the code, and post a "Discovered" log on the TB. Heck, you can even remove it from your cache and put it in another one, with the appropriate logs. If you don't have the code, then yeah - you would need to get it to fix the error. But if you have access to your cache and thus the code, then that seems like the easiest solution! I realize you've gotten this resolved, but I just had to ask & clarify your statement.
