+Chrysalides
I've never used one. If you're referring to the Satmap Active 10, there's an old thread here that may help : http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=218801 Edit : oops, sounds like your question is how to use it to navigate to the cache? Sorry... hopefully someone can answer that. Edited December 5, 2014 by Chrysalides Quote Link to comment

+Gitchee-Gummee
Satmap is based in the U.K., as such, not many outside of the U.K. or E.U. will have much knowledge of it or the functions. The only thing I find in the manual for the Satmap 10 regarding geocaching is in the glossary: GeocachingAn outdoor treasure hunt activity using a GPS to locate hidden containers, ('geocaches'). Often called a "game of high-tech hide and seek", coordinates, along with other details of the location, are posted online. Download files onto your computer from geocaching.com and use SatSYNC to import them to the Active 10. There is no other mention of geocaches or loading them elsewhere within the manual (that I could find). It does refer to IOI (Item of Interest); LOI (Location of Interest); OOI (Object of Interest) and POI (Point of Interest). IOI, OOI or POI could conceivably be utilized as a waypoint indicating a geocache placement. If you did not receive a manual along with the device, I suggest downloading it from here: http://cdn.satmap.com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/FULL-150-UG-EN-1105_WEB.pdf . SatSYNC is a Satmap download manager program that you may require. Download it here: https://satmap.com/satsync . In all, it appears to be a fine instrument -- I just don't think it was created with geocaching in mind. Quote Link to comment
