SaltyDog20
Been establishing waymarks for the last few months and I've noticed a few odd things. First, Every time I log on to the website and navigate a few pages, or try to establish a waymark(going through the process) it repeatedly sends me back to the login page. It is very frustrating to go from information input to picture upload and lose all of that data. Secondly, I live in Guam at 13N 144E, and without fail when I continue on to picture uploads the longitude defaults back to West. Anyone else experiencing this? Quote Link to comment
MountainWoods
I believe that the second issue is a known bug. The site seems to be N & W biased. Never had the first issue happen. Did you try a different browser? That sounds more like a browser issue. It's (excuse the pun) losing its cookies or something. Quote Link to comment
fi67
The E-W problem is well known. The site forgets changes in this form field after a certain time. The bug does not occur, when you enter all your data very quick (less than two minutes or so) or when you touch this box again as the very last, before you move on to the picture upload site. I have never heard of, or experienced, the other problem. Quote Link to comment
SaltyDog20
The login issue could very well be a browser based issue but I have only one browser I trust. I've also noticed infrequently when I do get booted somebody else's username is in place of my own. I will try this with a different browser to see if I can replicate the issue. Quote Link to comment
Bear and Ragged
N/S E/W is a known problem. Internet Explorer seems to cause a few problems... Have you tried Compatibility Mode for Waymarking site? (If you use IE) Quote Link to comment
