This type is already an accepted method for placing a cache and has been for some time. I had one but after a year with only a couple of attempts I archived. However now that iOS has caught up with Samsung and has a chip they may become more popular. All you have to do is place the cache, write the coordinates to the chip and place it and submit it. Since you are placing something at the initial location it does kick in the 528' rule.
