Prevent Image Auto Resize

The image upload used to say that images of 620 pixels or less would not be resized.

I used to routinely resize my images to this before uploading. I'd guess that's actually still true. You could fiddle with it, see if that works.

Hi,

I am working on a new listing with an image and am trying to use an area map to link various parts of the image to different pages.

See: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_area.asp

But the image resize in the listing is messing this up. Is there an image size which will NEVER be auto-resized when viewing a listing?

This one uses a fairly wide image.

Here's another that uses map.

Exactly. In the first listing you linked I can't click on the links in the image map because the image is wider than the frame in my display.

The first one uses a width attribute of 755, so in your code play around with values less than that in your img tag until you get your desired results. Be prepared for someone to come along with an even narrower display that won't display the map correctly, since you can't possibly allow for every device configuration out there.

Well I tried some experimentation and it would appear that if you make your image 655 wide or less that it wont resize even if you set your monitor a low resolution such as 1024 x 768. It just causes the window to have a scroll bar.
