Garmin Plug in not recognized

When I try to down load a cache to my GPS, it says that Garmin plug in not located on my computer. I've re-installed it but no success. I've downloaded cache's with this computer before with no trouble.

Stop using Internet Explorer!

Same happened to me after ugrading to IE11. I loaded the latest version of the Garmin Plugin and the Garmin webside confirmed detection of it. However, Geocaching.com still did not work. Then I set compatibility mode for Geocaching.com to IE10 and now it works at least partly: I am not able to download Caches from the map but when opened in a separate webside, the plugin is detected and upload to GPS device works. Strange, but at least a workaround.

Do not load caches from the map... load them from the cache page itself using [send to GPS] or [GPX file], located right next to it. The map send doesn't work.

 

Being Premium Member you really should look into Pocket Queries anyway -- much less problematic.

 

You can however, create a Pocket Query from the map yet -- so I am told.
