Trackable owners love to see photos! To add a picture to your trackable log, just follow these steps:

Go to your profile.

Click on "Trackable Items" from the top menu.

Click "Visit Log" next to the trackable you'd like to add the picture to.

In the top right corner, click on "Upload Photo."

Click "Browse" and select the photo from your computer that you'd like to upload.

Fill out any caption or file information in the boxes below.

Click on "Upload" from the bottom right side of the page.

Take care NOT to show the trackable's number in the photo! :o

The owner of a Trackable can opt to show pictures for their Trackable:

Login and visit the Trackable listing that where you want to add a photo.

Upload an image with the upload link in the upper right hand corner of the Trackable page.

Return to your Trackable page and click on the link to edit your Trackable.

Select from the dropdown box of images for the one you want to show on the Trackable's page.

Same as previous DON'T show the trackables number in the photo!

Thank you, thank you! Finally, I understand how to add the photos to the trackable's log rather than just the cache log!

So much on the geocaching.com pages is hard to find or confusing at first!

I think perhaps that is not surprising though, because the whole concept of geocaching is rather complex, and there is a lot to know.

It is hard to understand it all at once and there is quite a reasonable learning curve. Especially since it is a somewhat secretive activity; I have never met anyone else out in the field to learn from.

Anyway, I just discovered these help blogs now, and I think they will prove quite useful.

Thanks again
