+S&M Crozier
1. We have looked everywhere on how to put a maintenance request on a cache and I guess we're not that smart because I cannot figure it out! So I'd love for someone to help me! 2. How do we set up to get alerts on newly placed caches so we can get our FTF? Is this in the PQ section? Seems like simple things, but can't find answers! So any help would be appreciated! Quote Link to comment
+ADKer
1. It's the same way you'd log a find. Instead of using a "Found It" log, select a "Needs Maintenance" log. 2. Set it up here: Notifications Quote Link to comment

So I'd love for someone to help me! A "needs maintenance" log is what you're looking for. It's logged the same way as a "found it" or "dnf". There is a drop-down menu for you to choose what log type you want. A "needs maintenance" is separate from a "found it" log, and will not add to your finds count. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you also have to be on the website to make notifications, but don't quote me on that. Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
NOTE: If you found it and signed the log, be sure to ALSO post a "Found it" log. I see a lot of people posting a NM log that they found the cache and they obviously did not realize that it doesn't count as a find for them when they do it that way. Quote Link to comment
+Tassie_Boy
On the app (assuming you are using the GS app) there is another square green box directly to the right of the "found it" button, they are practically joined together. This second box has a lighter coloured arrow in the bottom right hand corner, if you press on it it brings down a menu with all the other logging options. It isn't well signposted and it took me about a month after the last update to work it out but it can be done. Quote Link to comment
