+kozayagi
I have taken to updating the coordinates (in gc.com) for caches that I've solved. Unfortunately, when viewing an area using the awesome map capability the caches are just where they've always been (at posted). Is there any reason why this can't be fixed? And in addition, the icon for a solved cache should have some visual indicator too... these 2 minor tweaks would do wonders for the usefulness of the map. +Team Microdot
This has been discussed numerous times and there's no indication that Groundspeak has any plans to implement the changes you suggest. I expect someone who knows how to perform an advanced forum search will be along soon with some example threads. Quote Link to comment

+Pontiac_CZ
Yep, such improvement would be really useful. But GS is busy working on more important stuff, you may check out the Release notes about what has been introduced/changed during previous months and decide yourself. Quote Link to comment
+Cuddy Cache Crew
As one of your links mentioned, when you run a pocket query and then view the map, you see your edited locations mapped. Looking at a "normal" search map, you do not. Think about this from a standpoint of Geoart. We are about to finish the "Pirates Geoart" series. If I want to see our big Pirates "P" in all it's smiley-faced glory, I can do that from any search page. When I want to see a map of where the puzzles lie after solving them, then I get that from a pocket query. (It doesn't have to be a pocket query based on a bookmark list -- any query that encompasses the area will show your edited locations.) :: Jeff, Cuddy Cache Crew Quote Link to comment
