Nylimb
Today I picked up a Geico Travel Tag. It's short URL is: http://coord.info/TB472WH But when I click on the ID number in the upper right part of the page, the URL is displayed as: http://coord.info/TB472WH38KCW Where did the "38KCW" come from? This happens in both Safari 4.1.3 and Firefox 3.6.28 on an iMac running Mac OS X 10.4.11. Other trackable pages that I've checked, including some for other Geico Travel Tags, work fine in both browsers. Quote Link to comment
+Beach_hut
Happens for me too. I notice that combination is the end of the GC code that TB wanted to end up at. There's a hyperlink on the TB page. Maybe somehow it got confused in the database? Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
The owner of that trackable had some incorrect HTML for his link. I have fixed it. Quote Link to comment
Nylimb
The owner of that trackable had some incorrect HTML for his link. I have fixed it. Thanks. I didn't realize that that link was under the owner's control. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
It isn't, technically, but the user errantly included a reference to the class that controls that element in his link, telling the page to render his additional link onto the end of it. Quote Link to comment
