+-CJ-
I've always been intrigued by the fact that WYSIWYG editor is shown only when the cache is being published but not when it is being edited. With the changed design/functionality I hoped that the problem would be gone. However it's still there. If the editor is already installed and works nicely - why cannot it be switched on? Moun10Bike
The third-party WYSIWYG editor works well for new submissions, but it cannot handle the HTML found in many of the legacy caches in the database. We plan to eventually make a more seamless editor, but it is a large engineering project and will take much time to design and implement properly. Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
How about detecting the HTML content of prior pages and allowing WYSIWYG if possible, and denying it if not? Perhaps it might even be possible to make a reasonable cut just by date? Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
Funny thing is, the "Edit" page on a trackable has WYSIWYG...just not the the "Edit" page on a cache. Quote Link to comment
