+maristua
When I try to go to http://www.geocaching.com I get a yellow line at the top of the page with the text You are currently using a test Web site. Any interactions on this site are strictly for testing purposes only; any changes you make will not be transferred to the live Web site. If I try to sign in with my user name maristua I get to this URL https://staging.geocaching.com/login/default.aspx?redir=%2fdefault.aspx%3f and a grey page with the text This webpage is not available Please get the regular geocaching.com site back up Quote Link to comment
+Bigmada
I'm getting the same thing. Can't log in or view map. I'm sure they will fix it soon. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
Works fine for me. Please get the regular geocaching.com site back up Is this really necessary? I'm sure they're smart enough not to have to be told to fix the thing that brings in an income... Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
I just checked, and I'm not seeing that banner. I wonder if a test server was accidentally made available to the public. For Groundspeak's reference, if you're curious, I'm on WEB01, Build: Tucson.Main.release-20140603.Release_113 and don't see the test banner. Another machine is on WEB17 with the same build and no problem. Quote Link to comment

+Gitchee-Gummee
I'll bet that for everybody seeing that banner were to "refresh" their browser it would go away. Funny how that works..... Turn it on and leave it on, of course it still shows the banner. Quote Link to comment

Turn it on and leave it on, of course it still shows the banner. Clearly that wasn't the case when they first saw the banner, because at least the OP also encountered problems trying to log in (redirected to a staging site), so a simple refresh likely wouldn't have made it go away. It's likely that a staging server was temporarily being used in production, and that it has now been taken down. There haven't been any further reports since it was posted that the banner seemed to have gone away, so I'm confused by your comment. Quote Link to comment
