+allieballie Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Visited a drive by cache today in the Scottish Borders which had three metal trackable tags in it, two of which had a single hole punched in it, and the other one had two holes punched in it. I couldn't work out what was going on so I took all three to try and figure it out afterwards. Have just checked the trackable history and all three appear to have last been seen in summer 2010, all in South East England , with two of them now marked as having been missing since 2011. I am going to contact the owners (whatever items they attached to these are long gone) to let them know that their tags have turned up but I am still perplexed as to what's going on and why these vandalised tags have all ended up in a cache in the Borders. Sabotage I guess but why and by whom? Quote
+Panther&Pine Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Just log them as found in another location, then you can visit them to the cache you found them in and get them going again. You really never know what happens with them, probably they road around together in a cacher's bag and at some point they remembered them and put them back into play without logging the drop. Quote
