+vhasler
Groundspeaks says in a banner warning: "Alright folks, this is a big one: Geocaching.com and all our mobile apps will be offline for 6–8 hours for a server upgrade update on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at approximately 2pm PDT (convert to your local time here). Check site status anytime: status.geocaching.com. This will help ensure the site and apps are more stable in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience." Does this server change also impact Waymarking.com? I'm guess "no" since no warning is appears on its home page. Working on plans for the upcoming week. Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
I have not heard officially but based on past experience I would anticipate that Waymarking will be down at the same time. Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
I have received confirmation. Waymarking will be down at same time that is announced for geocaching.com Quote Link to comment

+BruceS
Let's see if the traffic on Forums goes up. It might go up except the link listed on the message about Waymarking being down points to the old portal forum site which no longer is operational Quote Link to comment
GT.US
Did we get any updates or fixes? That darned photo orientation annoys me more and more as time goes by. As I replace old computers and laptops, I'm left with only one that I can rotate on my hard drive and upload properly. I had hoped my new camera wouldn't be a problem, but it is. Keystone
Yesterday's downtime was for hardware/server upgrades, not a code update. Quote Link to comment
