+canadazuuk
I've posted here before about some caches on Vancouver Island that some might find interesting to do. With the US Thanksgiving weekend coming, it seems likely that SOME cachers from lands farther away would be in a good position to attempt one. In particular, BOLD ENDURANCE GEOCACHE is coming up shortly, although TEAM KFWB GPS hasn't confirmed fianl details as of yet. Another upcoming cache A WATCHER'S POINT OF VIEW GEOCACHE should prove to be very difficult, but rewarding. Beware though, you may encounter difficulties like I have experienced in the REST & BE THANKFUL CACHE or the Phantom Of The Future Geocache. It is VERY possible to gather clues within 24-36 hours, a team of great guys did it this weekend for 'REST & BE THANKFUL'. Give it a shot. canadazuuk Quote Link to comment
umc
'Coming up shortly'? ThanksGiving weekend is closer than shortly. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Not so sure, Somewhat new Owner Of a Garmin GPS V Received on 10-03-02 Quote Link to comment
+kbraband
It's not considered good forum manners to post the same log in multiple locations. You should have found the best spot for your post and left it there only. This one hardly seems appropriate for the Midwest forum. Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
It may not be entirely appropriate, but considering the 'substantialness' of the cache, maybe a person planning a vacation would like the info. With all the threads that go on about nothing forever and a day, who knows. This was meant as a read-only topic. And after a few hours, it'll slink to the bottom of the pile like the rest of the barnyard droppings out there. zuuk Quote Link to comment
+kbraband
But what if I keep posting replies to your replies? No slinking! Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
Absolutely no slinking if you keep posting replies to it!! But since you felt it was out of place, why would you want it at the top anyway? And if for some strange reason , other people post replies to it... well,I guess that's the way it goes. BTW, since this reply is going to put the thread at the top anyway, BOLD ENDURANCE is now slated for December 8th. And further to this, one of the other caches, Perpetual Dawn Geocache has seen a very enlightening post from the NY/Vermont area. canadazuuk 'If it helps popularize geocaching, popularize it!' Big Red One
At the risk of keeping this up near the top for a few more days. I am planning a trip to Florida. Amazingly enough, if I want tips, I will look in the appropriate forum for info. I am certainly not expecting it to be posted here in the Midwest, just in case, even though far more people hereabouts are likely to be heading for Florida rather than Vancouver. Cheers. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step . . . and then I get in my truck and drive the rest of the way. Quote Link to comment
