+Ming Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Hi All, Been doing this for a while but it seems like my 60CSx isn't working (most likely operator error). ON PC: Using GSAK (7.7.4.36) Importing my jzip files Then GPS > SEND WAYPOINTS ON GPSR Data/Caches are now on my 60CSx, I can see them.... I'll press; FIND > GEOCACHE > ENTER I get; NONE FOUND... Would you like to set up the geocaching options? I'll select; YES, on the Geocaching Symbols page press PAGE to exit. Then press; FIND > GEOCACHE > ENTER and get the same thing... I'm making due by finding waypoints Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ming Quote
+DonB Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Are you using the treasure chest for an icon? Quote
+Red90 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 The icon on the waypoint must be exactly the same as the icon in the Geocaching setup. Carefully look at it. There may be multiple icons that look similar. Quote
+Ming Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Yes, I'm using the closed treasure chest icon (only have 2, one open and the other closed, listed under Outdoors). I went through all the icons... Quote
+yellow-bird Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I have an question for Ming. What kind of gps did you use to find all those caches on your profile? Quote
+MtnShasta Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Have you tried a Find By Name (Cache name or GC code) just to see if the gps can see a cache in your imported filelist and its not a location issue (being to far out from your current location)? Quote

I can find by name i.e. FIND > WAYPOINT > MENU > FIND BY NAME I have my pointer in the cluster of caches when I'm trying this. Quote

+Mineral2 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Have you tried downloading a Pocket Query directly from geocaching.com to your GPS? Quote
+MtnShasta Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Make sure that you are setup to 'Show Cache Not Found. If set to 'Show Found' and there are non in your unit it will give you the symptoms you are seeing. Quote
+Ming Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 I used EasyGPS, imported my GPX's and uploaded them and the 60's working like a charm... Not sure what going on with GSAK but I'm happy. Thanks everyone for you help!!! Quote

Thanks everyone for you help!!! What is going on with GSAK is your mapping the icons incorrectly. On the send to GPS dialog make sure the geocaches are set to Geocache, i.e., Traditional=Geocache.
