+gailbook
In searching for a nano today for a 2 stage find I found a written latitude/longitude about where stage 1 would be. Would that be considered a nano? I'm pretty new but I thought a cache would be in some kind of container. Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
The final stage of a multi in this case is stage two which would be a nano container. The lat/long is where you should go to find it. The container will be about the size of your pinkie nail. If you look on www.geocaching.com, or www.landsharkz.ca and look for containers, you'll find examples. If you found coordinates for stage two of a multi at the first stage, you'd find the "container" when you got to stage two. You did say it was a two-stage find... Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
By-the-by... take a pair of tweezers with you. Extracting the log sheet from a nano can sometimes be difficult without them -- that's how small a nano is, but it is a container. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Most cache owners use the size of the final stage of a multi when selecting a cache size. The other stages can be containers of different sizes and sometimes they aren't even containers. I've see tags, coords written on a piece of duct tape and even carved into stone. +gailbook
Thanks to all of you. That is exactly the information I needed! Now on to stage 2 to find the nano! gailbook Quote Link to comment
