+cache_n_out
Hi, Just wondering if there were any tidbits on what's coming down the pike - or has geocaching hit maturity? Seems like a long list of things *NOT* going to happen (virtual comeback, QR code logging, WIGO software upgrade, PQ for waypoints, a class of cache for challenges separate from mystery, nano size category.) I appreciate the webpage tweaks and map options and android app improvements. Just curious, CNO Quote Link to comment
+Semper Questio
Not likely. Groundspeak has always had something of a policy, with some exceptions, of not talking about what they have in the works, at least until JUST before the do something. For instance, they hinted at the now-defunct Challenges very shortly before they were introduced. In the few cases I recall of them hinting at something (such as Geocaching 2.0, a new GPX structure, WYSIWIG cache listing pages, and new PQ creation method) they were mentioned long ago but have never seen the light of day and have been rarely, if ever, mentioned since.
