syncing caches with new gps

Hoping someone out there can tell me how to sync geocaches with my gps. Every time I try to send a cache to my gps it tries to get me to download data from the DeLorme site and when I hit the Garmin button nothing happens. Seems paying for a Premium membership is kind of a waste if I cant make use of its selling points. Any help would be great! Thanks

Premium Membership has nothing to do with this.

 

Your browser is the culprit. You didn't say, but I am guessing that you are using Internet Explorer.

 

You can:

1] Turn on the "compatibility mode" of your browser...

if that doesn't work

2] Switch to either FireFox or Google Chrome.

 

That should solve the problem.

There are many like posts regarding this in these forums.

 

Beings as how you want to use Premium Membership benefits, you really ought to look at Pocket Queries. Load up to 1,000 caches in a single-shot, rather than the bulky "Send to GPS" mechanism. You're missing the PM boat by not using Pocket Queries.

A little more information may be helpful. What GPS? What operating system? If you are running windows that may be the problem. Try using Google Chrome or another operating system.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Changed the compatibility view (Internet Explorer) and worked like a charm! I love forums...now I need to figure out Pocket Queries:) I build custom wooden drift boats for a living...not much time with computers these days Thanks again!!
