I logged a TB into the wrong cache by mistake...a cacher found it in another cache and emailed me ...much appreciated...but i can't edit the log to change it any advice?

Don't worry about it. Mistakes happen, I've done it myself, and things work out in the end.

Did another cacher "grab" it from you, then log it into the correct cache (or take it with them)? If so, you're done.

 

If it's still physically in the wrong cache and you still have the secret code, you can log a "take" from the cache it's incorrectly logged into, then drop it in the correct cache.

 

If it's still physically in the wrong cache and you DON'T have the secret code, I'd either:

 

1) contact the TB owner and explain the situation, so they can fix it; or

 

2) post a note in the cache to say that the TB is there and that you don't have the code anymore to correctly log it. Hopefully someone will come along, take it, and log it correctly.
