+carleenp
Are there any organized geocaching groups in Nebraska? I would love to join one if it exists (I suspect there are none since I have checked the forums and did a web search). Has anyone thought of starting one? I would be happy to help! I just wouldn't want to take that on all by myself though! Quote Link to comment
+bigredmed
How about that for a name? I would be up for it. By appointment to the Court of HRM Queen Mikki I. Quote Link to comment

+spinwebby
As organizer for Great Plains Geocaching, we'd be happy to help you get a group going. Say the word and we can open a dialogue privately. Drop me a line at jgoodenow@spindustry.com and we'll give you a "leg up". SpinWebby Quote Link to comment
NoyzSource
I'm kinda surprised by how many active cachers there are in nebraska. Gives a newbie like me lots of oppurtunities. Quote Link to comment
+bigredmed
Channel 6 in Omaha just had a story on geocaching tonight. Pretty good coverage. By appointment to the Court of HRM Queen Mikki I. Quote Link to comment
+The Shorts
I heard about the story but I didn't get to see it . Would anybody want to help me get a get-together going? I have some ideas for a get-together but I have been traveling and it has been hard to get anything going. I was thinking about having the get-together a Zorinsky some weekend. It is a large enough park to hold a few temp caches for the activities. I just wasn't shure what else to do. Quote Link to comment
+kevin917z
maybe your first activity/meeting can be mapping corn fields! j/k Quote Link to comment
+The Shorts
As long as you map the wheat feilds Quote Link to comment
+bigredmed
Might suggest getting a picnic together at Schramm or Platte River as an alternative so that its easier for the Lincoln folks to come. By appointment to the Court of HRM Queen Mikki I. Quote Link to comment
+The Shorts
What ever it takes. I was out at Platte River State Park and Schram Park this weekend and I saw a lot of places to have a get-together. Is it to late in the year for a picnic? Quote Link to comment
+carleenp
Schram might be good because I think there are several caches there as well. It is kind of late for a picnic though. Mahoney has the indoor lodge. Maybe people people could meet for the buffet there? I don't know if they would reserve a big table or a room for free. I know the flyfishing club has used rooms there before. Quote Link to comment

I would be willing to buzz out there as long as my call schedule permits. By appointment to the Court of HRM Queen Mikki I. Quote Link to comment
