Seeker BP Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 I was curious to know if there has ever been a roaming cache placed. Sorta like a travel bug, but the entire cache is retrieved and re-placed by the cacher who has found it. I have given this some thought, but would like some feedback on your thoughts. Quote

+Ttepee Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 There are a bunch of them out there. I have placed Gilbert's Stash a traveling cache. If you plug Traveling into the keyword cache search you will come up with a bunch more. Quote
BassoonPilot Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 The first one I did was BrianSnat's Pyramid Mountain Roaming Cache. It has a "base station" to log the current location of the roaming cache, which is expected to remain within the confines of that (pretty large and featuring a diversity of terrains) park. Then I did crusso's 50 state traveler, which is both a traveling cache and a travel bug. I see it is in Kansas at the time of this writing. Glad to see it's making good progress! Most recently, I did Cache Ninja's NyC m|cr0 moT|on cAche ver 3.o, which is supposed to stay within the 5 boroughs of NYC. Each was different from the others; all were fun! Quote
