+Harrie45
My distinct number of found geocaches is 1 less than the 'found' number. Apparently I have logged 1 geocache twice. How can I find out what geocache that was? I would like to correct that. Quote Link to comment

One way to find the extraneous "found it" log is to run the special "My Finds" pocket query. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=283411 A more recent development has been the Project GC site, which I haven't checked out at all: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=310588 B. +Harrie45
Project Geocaching says it is GCYXMG Thanks for the help! How did you find out so quickly? I was still puzzling how to use that website. Next question how do I remove a log from an archived (locked) geocache? Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Next question how do I remove a log from an archived (locked) geocache? To remove, find the duplicate log and select Edit. You may have to click to confirm. Not sure if a locked cache will allow you to edit? If it's only Archived, it will allow you to edit/delete. Quote Link to comment

+Harrie45
OK, I know now what is the 'bad log' geocache. It is archived. Deleting or editing the log is not possible. It is locked. How do I get rid off that duplicate log? Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Works for me! Yanno, if the interwebs didn't mess with my head once in a while, it would be confusing as heck. Yup, works for me too, now. Looks to be archived, not locked. OP should be able to just delete the extra "found it" log. B. Quote Link to comment

How do I get rid off that duplicate log? I don't understand the language, but I don't see where the cache is "locked". It is archived, but that doesn't necessarily mean "locked". Did you try to delete the extraneous "found it" log? If it is locked, you will probably need to contact Groundspeak and ask for help. Or maybe the reviewer could do it for you. B. +Harrie45
Pup Patrol, Can you describe exactly what I have to do to delete that duplicate entry? I clicked on the 'you logged as found on ...' and tried to edit or delete that entry. The message I get is that it is locked. Harrie Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Oops, sorry, you're correct. It IS locked. I just thought to try the "log your visit" and that's the message I get, too. So sorry for not thinking of trying that before saying anything. The listing has been locked and is not accepting new log entries. I think you're going to have to contact Groundspeak to get this fixed. I'm not sure if a reviewer can do it or not. B. Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty sure a reviewer can lock and unlock a cache, so deleting the log shouldn't be a problem. Quote Link to comment
