Pup Patrol,
Can you describe exactly what I have to do to delete that duplicate entry?
I clicked on the 'you logged as found on ...' and tried to edit or delete that entry.
The message I get is that it is locked.
Harrie
OK, I know now what is the 'bad log' geocache.
It is archived. Deleting or editing the log is not possible. It is locked.
How do I get rid off that duplicate log?
Project Geocaching says it is GCYXMG
Thanks for the help!
How did you find out so quickly? I was still puzzling how to use that website.
Next question how do I remove a log from an archived (locked) geocache?
My distinct number of found geocaches is 1 less than the 'found' number. Apparently I have logged 1 geocache twice. How can I find out what geocache that was? I would like to correct that.
After the problem has been gone for a while, it is back again. The home page is not functioning in Google Chrome 18.0.1025.108 beta-m on Windows 7 64 bit.
Logging in with the URL you gave me is no problem. The problem is on the "www.geocaching.com" page. I just noticed that none of all links on that page do work.
I used CCleaner to clean cookies and cache.
yes:
TinEye Reverse Image Search 1.1.1
and
avast! WebRep6.0.1374
Disabling then does not resolve the problem. Maybe something with cookies? Javascript?
Indeed I have "Beta m". Clearing the cache does not help. I see in Task Manager that it takes maximal CPU usage of 1 of the 4 cores (core2quad), until Chrome responds with the "Page not responding" box.
Please remove the challenges from geocaching! Give them their own website away from geocaching.
Geocaching is about coordinates and logging in a logbook.
(I saw a challenge to kiss a toy crocodile....?????)
