+SearchLine Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 After I installed GSAK and downloaded a few LOC. files I got this Geocaching.com api error message. "Cache download limit has been exceeded." What did I do? What does it mean? How do I fix it? I can't find any info in the Help section. Quote
+stijnhommes Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 It appears you are a basic member. Basic members can only retrieve a limited amount of caches from the site through the API. You should have access again 24 hours when you get your allowed limit for the next day. Quote
+Walts Hunting Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I believe basic members get three a day. Premium 6,000. Quote
+BlackRose67 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I believe basic members get three a day. Premium 6,000. Premium members also get 10,000 a day when using the "Light" data format rather than the "Full details" option that gives 6,000. Quote

Then throw in 5,000 a day from PQ's and in 8 days you could have all 120,000 in CA. although I'm not sure why you would want to. So I guess we are saying the premium membership is a pretty good hint. +SearchLine Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 That's what I figured but I wanted to be sure before I spent the money only to find out it was a setup issue. Thanks! Quote
