How Do I Add A Background Photo to a Cache Listing

I am putting together a listing for a new cache. I took a picture of the area near the cache spot and want it to be the background photo for the cache listing page like I've seen so many other cachers have. I see from the "Edit Cache Page" the space to add a background image but it specifies a URL. My photo is one I took, uploaded and saved to my computer so it's not a URL. So that doesn't seem to be what I want. I see from the finished (but not enabled) listing page that there is a link to "upload images". So I selected that and chose my file. But that just adds a link to the photo on the bottom of the listing.

How do I make that uploaded photo the background? Thanks.

The photo must be uploaded to somewhere on the Internet. The will give the url for the photo, which is what the page is asking for. The simplest place would be to upload it to the cache page. That should show at the bottom of the cache page description. Right click on that and click on 'properties'. That will show you the url. Copy to the spot for "Background image url."

I think you're nearly there...

You've got that photo linked to the cache page so it's now hosted on geocaching.com and will have its own URL.

Click the link to the photo, then (bottom right corner) click 'Print picture' to open the photo as a .jpg That will give you your URL for the photo and you can then use it to create the background image.
