+Cardinal Red
I use the Advanced Search feature fairly often. That feature is described as: Geocaches are located all over the world! Search for geocaches by postal code, state, country, coordinate, keyword, username or GC Code. The default is By Postal Code. The six remaining options are By Coordinate, By Country/State, By Keyword, By Username (Found), By Username (Hidden), By GC Code. I do occasionally use the By Postal Code default, but my #1 use is for By GC Code. My #2 use is By Coordinate. Did Groundspeak use the best default choice for your use, or did they consult a Ouija Board? Quote Link to comment
+littleblkdog
I use advanced search to look up cachers so either hidden by or found by. I have never used Postal Code for advanced search. But I do use Postal Code extensively to set-up pocket queries. If I don't have a center point or other landmark in mind I have found Postal Codes to be a great way to mark a PQ search. +Lil Devil
You guys might prefer to search from this page, as you wouldn't have to choose anything from a pull-down menu. I have this page set as the home page in my browser. Quote Link to comment
