+CamoriCouple
Is it cool, or is it bad form to return to a previously logged cache to pick-up a trackable left afterwards? I noticed a trackable placed in a cache near where I live that now has a trackble and I'd like to move it along. Is that okay to do? Thanks, Ori. Quote Link to comment
+6NoisyHikers
We do this all the time (especially if the trackable is in a cache we are "concerned" about ). If you think you can help that trackable on its mission, by all means go and retrieve it. Just log a "note" on the cache page saying that you picked it up. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Please help move those trackables along - just post a 'note' for visits 2 and beyond. Quote Link to comment

Instead of a "found it" log, you would post a "write note" log to let folks know that you had retrieved the trackable to move it along. B. Quote Link to comment
+TheWeatherWarrior
Log your grab (with a write note) and log your drop. Add a little fun something for folks to read and you are good to go (as others have said). Actually, I think it is almost preferable to have trackables (TBs/coins) move faster rather than slower. +Condorito
plus, it's better that someonee who knows what they're doing takes it, rather than the next finder coming and taking it and it getting lost... Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Feel free to visit or re-visit any cache, including your own to Drop or Retrieve a travel bug. Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
We have done this, writing a note in the online log that we have picked up the travel bug from the cache. Always keep a note of the bug's tracking number so you can log that you retrieved it from Cache A and dropped it in Cache B. Again, if you have already found Cache B, a note that you are dropping a TB will suffice. The most important thing is to remember to log the travel bug in and out of the caches (Trackables will get you there) to keep the inventory correct. Good question you asked! Quote Link to comment
+CamoriCouple
Thanks everyone for your great answers! We're learning more and more and to us proves why people should get plenty of experience finding before hiding or even 'moving along' bugs. Quote Link to comment
