Searching for mega events

Is there a way to search for events/mega events by state on geocaching.com without doing some sort of pocket query? Thanks! Also, am I the only one who wishes you could choose attributes on the iphone app when doing an advanced search?

Advanced Search

Choose the cache type you want to search for (or choose "All Event Cache Types" for all event types), select "By Country/State", and choose the region you want to search.

You can also get the state lists from the forums here. Open the 'Geocaching groups by state/region' section of the forum and just click on the state you're wondering about. That should open a list with all events right at the top followed by recent cache hides.

Looks like those are the same pages that open up when you go to the Hide and Seek a Geocache page and search by state page. I like those, I keep forgetting to use them.

 

edit: to the OP, don't forget that each Groundspeak weekly newsletter has a list of all upcoming MEGA events; check your profile settings to change your email preferences if you aren't getting it.
