+TyeRay SJGR
So i have been using GSAK for a little while now and noticed there are hundreds of different macros to load, and trying to figure out what macros that everyone recomends on downloading, or the must haves. +niraD
Note that the word is "macro", not "micro". And you'll probably get more useful replies in the GSAK forums, or in this site's GPS and Technology forum. Quote Link to comment
+JL_HSTRE
http://gsak.net/board/MacroIndex.php I get tons of use from Google Map V3. GoogleEarthCirclesPlus is useful for checking proximity when laying out caches, especially in a series along one trail. FindStatGen3 is a popular stats macro. I think it has some stuff that MyGeocachingProfile.com doesn't have? LetterSoup is good if you like A-Z challenge caches. CacheRoute can be useful plotting a route between caches, although it can only handle 20-24 at a time. Quote Link to comment
+Cache O'Plenty
CompareDBs.gsk is useful if you cache with another so you can only search for those neither of you have found. Also useful for other applications as well. GoogleEarth.gsk is the one I use to map current filter on Google Earth. (I'll have to check out the other one quoted above). Gridkiller.gsk is one I just found that searches your current DB for caches that would help you complete your D/T matrix. There are a number of macros that support various Challenge caches. For example: StarChallenge.gsk Pyramid.gsk PeriodicTableCodeChallenge.gsk challenge.gsk Best way is to just search down the list for descriptions and try them out. You can always delete those that are not useful. Quote Link to comment

+The Jester
While I use quite a number of macro's, most I've written myself for me. Of the public ones I use, FindStatGen3 and MapsLive are the two I use the most. Quote Link to comment
