  1. Just Want To Say Thank You To The Rottweiler Team Looking Forward To You Dropping It Off! And As Promised The Reward Is Yours!!! Thank You!
  2. So I finally received a email back from a non Geocacher that found my favorite Travel Bug in a completely different state then it was picked up in. looking at his profile it looks like he has never found a cache and just placed the travel bug in a random location, (not his fault just didn't know, on his log he left the cords of a tree that he left it in, is there someone around this area that could help a fellow cacher before its gone forever? Tried to contact him again but no luck. If You Can Help Me I Will Put A TB Out In The World In Your Honor!!!! ***Below Is His post As Well As The Link To My TB!*** June 9, 2014 update! Oops, I had this since Oct 2013. Just released it in Holland, Michigan at 42*46'44"N 86*11'54"W in a low crook of a tree on the small roadside beach. Looking forward to seeing where it goes next! ----- Found in late October in northwest Boulder, Colorado on the Old Kiln Trail. It was in a small pile of rocks near the Old Kiln (an outdoor, long-abandoned, stone oven that was built into a hillside in what would have then been a remote section along the foothills). I'm not sure if this was where it was intentionally placed, as the area is at the epicenter of where Boulder recently had what has been referred to as a "biblical" level of flooding and there is an assortment of debris - man made and natural - strewn about the area. My son, who is currently 7 years old, is eager to follow the progress and we already have a hiding place in mind. More details soon! http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=27697c8f-78e0-4943-896c-76579ebe284d Thanks In Advance!!!!!!!
  3. Are you ranting about the trackables that one cacher has had for 6 weeks? When you've had a little more experience, you'll learn that 6 weeks is not very long; not everybody can go out geocaching every week and not every time finds caches large enough to place trackables in them. I And you've emailed them multiple times already. This is bordering on harrassent and is a good way to cause your coins to disappear forever. It is far from being a lost cause; you just need to learn to be a little more patient. Three to six months is a more realistic time span to talk about someone "holding on to" your TBs. First they are very small coins and the person has found many caches at least a few a week that were plenty big to drop. Theres no need for ur answer ur right I haven't cached for too long so Thats exactly why I came here to ask a question, because there are good people out there that will answer my question without all the extra negatively. Thank but no thanks
  4. I am just wondering if anyone knows any ways to get a hold of someone holing on to your TBs, They are currently holding 2 of geocoins, I have tried emailing multiple times and I have checked to see if they cache with anyone else that I could message but can't seem to find anyone? This may be a lost cause but thought I would ask before marking it missing! Thanks
  5. So if you have been geocaching for just a couple weeks or a few years, sooner or later you are going to come in contact with muggles. There are many ways to deal with them, hiding until they pass, or acting like they are the ones out of place. But all and all sometimes your confronted face to face. So what's everyone's excuse to what there doing?

  8. What's great about project gc is that it updates by its self unlike gsak.
  9. Central Ontario Geocachers. They are medals, not badges. Just a fun project for our local group, never intended to be picked apart and criticized by the international crowd. If you don't like them, then it's no big deal, eh? B. I hope to check out the fourm this afternoon, and talk to how it was done, I personally think its a good concept and I think many cachers will agree!
  10. Not exactly and definitely somthing that looks Bette, but the format is very easy and many people have a hard time with gsak.
  11. Looking at recent profiles, and wondering if we have something similar to this link for the US caches? or if anyone knows how to create one? http://www.centralontariogeocachers.com/campaign/
  12. Does anyone know, any websites or the best way to conduct a travel bug race?
  13. So i have been using GSAK for a little while now and noticed there are hundreds of different macros to load, and trying to figure out what macros that everyone recomends on downloading, or the must haves.
  14. Hi,I've been noticing going onto different cachers GC profiles that there are many different ways or ideas to put stats or badges onto your profile, and just recently seen you can add your Trackable photos and info to your page. what kind does everyone else use?
  15. If what you're getting is two-outta-eight (so far), with one saying "had", where'd you come up with stamps being the best choice? Personally, I think it's easier, less messy for others and a heck of a lot more precise to use a pen, sharpie or pencil. A stamp or sticker taking up to three lines on a micro log doesn't help anyone but the person who thought they'd save time running to the next. I don't know how many times I've opened a log to have stickers falling all around like it's a ticker tape celebration that I found it. Just great. You think you saved a bit of a hassle by slapping a sticker in and now someone has to clean your mess... I was asking jw for objects besides pens, and out of all answers including yours, I've came up still with the same conclusion, stickers or stamps on micros I agree are completely unnecessary, but on larger logs I was wounding what other ideas people have thought of.
  16. So im getting out of all this that stamps look to be the best choice.
  17. So lately I've started to see alot more stickers on logs, and it made me wonder what else everyone has created to carry with them to geocaches? And what do they look like? Stamps, business cards, whereto u make them orbwho knows someone who designs? Also what website do you prefer for your little hiking quipment?
  18. I am thinking of hosting a CITO event for the April 20/21 Weekend and, would like some help in ideas, locations, games, and all-round ideas to plan the day, any help or links would be great. great. Thank Ya!
  19. I have looked and looked and im sure its is on here somwhere.
