+wildniagara Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 I have been finding incidental caches while searching the bush. How do I contact the cache owner. For example I found a 5 gallon pale marked 5 of 5 and the log book was owned by bushshawn. I searched this forum but no results and I know development is about to bulldoze that cache. Is there a place on the main site that can lead me to the cache owner? Quote Link to comment

You will need to make a search using Find a User -OR- Hide and Seek a Cache , then search with Hidden by Username. Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Based on the work already done by aka Momster and your description of the cache, it looks like this is the cache you found: Bush #5 = 5 Gallon. It looks like there are 2 trackables in there currently, so if you aren't able to contact the owner before the cache is obliterated, it would be great if you could at least retrieve those to keep them alive. Guess it wouldn't have worked without the proper spelling anyway. I forgot my cell phone that day and didn't have a camera. I was simply doing a site inspection before this goes to Council but it looks inevitable so I should have time to contact the user and so he can relocate it. I still haven't looked for my first cache on purpose yet. Maybe bushshaun will give me a hands on rundown of how it's done. Thanks again Quote Link to comment

This area is to become another commercial area and some are suggesting the target that didn't go in the current zellers location will go here. It may be a year or two before this area gets leveled.
