I was happy to see this thread. I had bought a Garmin Oregon 450 on Black Friday and then purchased a Premium Membership. After seeing this thread, I was able to add another month to my annual membership. Yeah!!

I signed up for the 30-day trial premium membership, and this shows in my profile. However, when downloading caches, if I try to use paperless geocaching on my O550t, it says I must be a premium member. Any ideas?

I'm just guessing on this, but you might try logging out of the site and then logging back in to set your new settings.

I'm purchasing a new GPS from the geocaching site shop, and the description says it comes with the 30-day premium membership. Does anyone know whether that goes into effect automatically or can you decide when to activate it. I think i'd rather have those 30 days after all the snow where i live melts! Thanks!
