The 8th Level Of Muggled - Help Needed

I just learned that my first (and currently only...yes I've been slacking) cache hide was muggled (isn't this a right of passage or something). A fellow cacher went out today and found the cache, intact and with everything inside...including the s*** someone took in it. They then removed the cache, took it home, and started cleaning it up. Well I just got off the phone with this person and they not only cleaned up the cache (inside and out) but they offered to replace it with fresh trade items or hold it for me.

Now I've met MANY awesome people while geocaching but to me this cacher has gone above and beyond and I'd like to thank them in a special way...but I can't think of how. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen caches discarded in that situation. I haven't seen them cleaned. That's CITO above and beyond the call of duty.

There's a micro CITO geocoin in the geocaching.com store. There are larger CITO geocoins elsewhere.

Or maybe you could find out what their favorite restaurant is and treat them to a nice dinner.

On a side note - please consider relocating your cache. Usually when a person goes to that length to contaminate a cache, they will go back and do it again. Someone psychologically impaired knows where to find your cache if nature calls again

We found a cache that had been peed in. We cleaned it up on site and put in back in place. The owner archived and removed it about a week later. Wasn't worth the hassle.

Yes I'll likely replace this with a micro nearby and make the ammo can a new cache elsewhere.
